Prayer Request

Please take a moment to pray for this man. He wears shoes few of us are called to wear. He is brutally criticized at every turn. Although he is prayerfully doing his best, few recognize this and even fewer have thanked him.

Few know the extent of the burden he bears; and this is as it should be. He needs to know far more than anyone else in the world and must make decisions based on information the rest of us should NOT know.

Thank God that he is a praying man, and pray that God continues to give him the guidance he needs to do his job effectively.

Pray that he knows the sympathy and support that reasonable people send to him and that he feels the comfort of our prayers.

"Blessed are you when men shall revile you, and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you, for my sake."

God Bless You, Mr. President.

Well... I would pray for him, but seeing as how I'm a Satanist he might not appreciate the support. heheh

Seriously now, I think we all are capable of understanding the burden our President bears. The job of trying to convince Congress and the American People that the quagmire that is the Iraq War is just, to impose his religious morals on non-believers as if this were a theocracy, to help the nation recover from a huge deficit his rampant spending caused, and the job of trying to get his party's agenda through the legislative process while having an abysmal approval rating and not even knowing the agenda until he hears it on the news would be incredibly tough, and I'm not sure how many people would be able to do it.

I wonder how long it will take Christians to denounce the President as the single worst Christian in existance. He's using your religion to promote his policies, why do you tolerate that?

And before anyone tells me I'm going to Hell or whatever, I've heard it before. I've read the Bible, thank you, no need to shout at me with quotes misrepresented to turn a religion of peace and tolerance into one of hatred and warfare.

You really must be a Satanist since you seem to have NO understanding of Christianity.

My son-in-law, who is in Bagdad as we speak, is a retired Army Colonel. He is there today helping to train Iraqis because he believes in the mission. History has taught us that the only nations who do not war against each other are free ones, based on democratic principles. Until the world is free we are all in danger.

Reading the Bible does not teach you what Christianity is. You must read the Bible and study it in its historical context to discover the insights the Bible has to offer.

You are to be pitied. The true shame is, however, that you are allowed, in your ignorance, to vote.
